TV Show Tackles the Issue of Online Poker and the Law
29 Nov 2004
Everyday thousands of poker players log on to online sites and test
their skills against players from around the world. Meanwhile,
legislators in Washington are working day and night to make this
activity against the law. In their latest episode, the streaming
poker TV show "Poker Updates" examines the governments attempt to
disallow advertising and eventually place a prohibition on all
Internet gaming, including online poker. Emotions flared when
producer and host Eric Rosenberg posed the issue to top industry
leaders. "This is a very important topic. It was no surprise to me
to see many of the biggest names in the business get fired up about
it", said Rosenberg. Featured in the story are World Series of
Poker Media Director Nolan Dala, World Poker Tour Host Mike Sexton,
Professional Poker Player Annie Duke, and more. About Poker Updates
Poker Updates is the Internet's first and only streaming poker TV
show. Each episode takes you into the world of poker by diving into
