There is also a special presentation on slot math, presented by John Wilson of ICS Gaming called "Slot Creation & PAR Sheets."
"If you think slot math might be dull, boring or over your head, think again," said Fromm. "His is a lively and informative presentation that actually makes slot math fun. I wish my High School math teachers had been half as good as John is at teaching."
However, the main focus of TechFest is monitor repair. Each morning, the group attends a monitor repair presentation given by Randy Fromm. The presentation assumes no background in monitor repair and takes attendees through the basic theory of operation of monitors, followed by an intermediate-level look all the various functions of the monitor circuits. The presentation concludes with detailed circuit analysis. Practical repair tips are discussed throughout the program and attendees will come away with a collection of schematic diagrams and troubleshooting flowcharts that will assist in future repairs on the bench back home.
The cost of the three-day event is $450.00 per person. This includes luncheon each day.
